Return & Refund Policy (India)

At Gau Organics, customer satisfaction is our priority. We follow a transparent and consumer-friendly return policy aligned with Google Merchant Center rules and Indian consumer laws.

1. Return Eligibility (India)

You may request a return if:

You received a damaged or defective product

You received the wrong item

You received an expired or near-expiry product

Packaging was tampered on arrival

Product received is different from the description on our website

Note: Perishable, opened, or used food items cannot be returned for hygiene & safety reasons unless damaged/defective on arrival.

2. Return Window (India)

7-Day Return Policy from the date of delivery

For damaged/defective items, you must raise a request within 48 hours of delivery along with clear photos/video

3. Return Process (India)

Share your Order ID, reason for return, and photos/video of the issue

After approval, our courier partner will schedule a pickup

Once the product is inspected, a refund or replacement will be processed

4. Refund Method (India)

Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

UPI / Wallet

Credit/Debit Card

Net Banking

COD refunds via Bank Transfer / UPI

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after inspection.

5. Non-Returnable Items (India)

Opened or used consumable food products

Customized items

Items without original packaging

Orders delivered to wrong address provided by the customer

🌍 International Return & Refund Policy

We ship selected products internationally. Due to customs rules and logistics constraints, international returns follow a different process.

1. Return Eligibility (International)

You may request a return if:

Product arrives damaged

You receive the wrong item or incorrect variant

Product is defective on arrival

2. Return Window (International)

International returns accepted within 10 days of delivery

Damage claims must be submitted within 48 hours with photos/video

3. International Return Process

Email us at info@gaudairy.com with your Order ID and product issue evidence.

After review, we will choose one of the following:

Option A: Refund without return (applicable for low-value/damaged items)

Option B: Return shipping arrangement (only for eligible cases)

4. Refund Method (International)

Refunds are processed to:

Credit/Debit Card

International gateways (Shopify Payments / PayPal, etc.)

Refund timeline: 7–10 business days after approval.

5. Non-Returnable Items (International)

Opened food items

Used products

Items damaged due to customer handling

Items restricted or rejected by customs

Products refused by customs in destination country
